STAMFORD, Conn.--i3 Mobile Inc. launched a pilot program with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce providing customers and CIBC employees with wireless information services on their wireless devices. Participants in the pilot may customize their alerts to include such services as banking tips, midday and closing stock quotes from both U.S.
and Canadian exchanges, market indices, sports scores, weather forecasts and various news headlines. CIBC said it will use customer feedback from the pilot to develop a service it can extend to more than 8 million banking customers as more of them adopt wireless Internet services. i3 Mobile is providing much of the wireless enablement services as well as providing accessory content, such as news and weather....
