TPS Utilicom asks FCC to disregard Alaska Native bids.

WASHINGTON--TPS Utilicom has requested the Federal Communications Commission disregard the winning bids of Alaska Native Wireless L.L.C. and DCC PCD Inc. in the FCC's recent auction of personal communications services licenses. TPS, which was also a bidder in the auction, claims both companies' connections with AT & T Wireless Services Group disqualified them from participating in the auction for licenses set aside for designated entities.

"Alaska's corporate structure, control agreement and lack of candor disqualify it from obtaining the licenses which are sought," TPS said in one of two petitions filed with the FCC.
