Certicom announces support for Cisco unified VPN.

HAYWARD, Calif.--Certicom, a provider of e-business security, announced support for Cisco's unified VPN client strategy and framework to enable virtual private networks to extend to handheld computing platforms. Certicom will provide its Elliptic Curve Cryptography (EEC) as part of Cisco's VPN Client 3.0 software, which supports the Cisco VPN 3000 Concentrator series.

Also, Certicom's movianVPN, an IPsec wireless VPN client for handheld devices, is now shipping with Cisco's gateway products.
