RELM appeals delisting.

RCR Wireless News, May, 2001

WEST MELBOURNE, Fla.--RELM Wireless Corp., which manufactures, develops and distributes wireless land mobile radio products, has filed an appeal with NASDAQ regarding its recent delisting from the National Market System, and has requested an oral hearing before a NASDAQ listing qualifications panel.

RELM's earlier application to transfer to the Small Cap Market System was denied, as the company does not meet the $1 minimum bid price requirement. The company will continue to trade under its current symbol, RELM, pending the outcome of these proceedings.
