IPWireless completes 3G broadband wireless trial.

SAN BRUNO, Calif.--IPWireless Inc., a broadband wireless technology company, said it has successfully completed the field test of its third-generation broadband wireless network solution. Trial participants in Greensboro, N.C., used a palm-sized portable modem to access the Internet from laptops and desktops at speeds that IPWireless said rival current DSL and cable modem offerings.
