Verizon launches retail presence in Pittsburgh airport.

PITTSBURGH-Verizon Wireless launched its first retail outlet in an airport at Pittsburgh International Airport. The store includes a free recharging station for cell phone batteries and a language line to assist non-English-speaking travelers. The store also is open extended hours year round.

"Pittsburgh has an opportunity to truly shine as we roll out services that are geared to the special needs of the traveler, whether he or she is a local resident going Out of town, or a customer from elsewhere who needs wireless services when arriving here," said Roger Tang, president, Ohio/Pennsylvania region, for Verizon Wireless. Verizon Wireless also announced an agreement with Advantage Wireless to provide the carrier's products and services in 17 Advantage...
