REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--The wireless local area network 802.11b market increased more than 20 percent in the second quarter of this year in homes and small business markets, according to a report by Dell'Oro Group. "Next year (2002) should be another strong year for wireless LANs as enterprise demand strengthens and users begin deployments of 802.11a-based systems," says Greg Collins, a director at Dell'Oro Group.
