Heavyweights aim to make wireless access to groupware as 'pervasive as voice mail'.

Using Wireless Knowledge Inc.'s Workstyle software and Qualcomm Inc.'s Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless platform, Verizon Wireless and Sprint PCS are planning to offer a new service that will allow their enterprise customers to wirelessly access their e-mail, calendar and contact information stored on a Microsoft Exchange or a Lotus Domino-based system, the companies announced last week.
