Zucotto Wireless Inc. released version 2.0 of the Whiteboard software development kit, Blue-tooth edition. This version offers integrated development environment (IDE) functionality and a Java technology-based application programming interface (API). It also has a Bluetooth protocol stack written in the Java programming language.

According to Zucotto, with the product, programmers can build, compile, debug and emulate Java technology-based applications in a desktop environment.
