SAN FRANCISCO-AT&T Wireless Services Inc. announced that it will meet its third-quarter subscriber addition target of 700,000 to 750,000. The company also is on schedule with its plans to sometime this year offer GPRS service to about 40 percent of its U.S. subscribers, Mohan Guyani, president and chief executive of AT&T Wireless' mobility business.
Guyani did not comment on AT&T's third-quarter average revenue per user (ARPU) estimates.
