HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.--Mobile phone vendor Audiovox says it suffered a 90 percent drop in profit in its third quarter ended August 31 with a net income of $1 million, or 5 cents per diluted share in contrast with $10 million, or 44 cents a share, a year earlier. It reported a net sales drop to $313.9 million from $470.3 million last year.
