TPS Utilicom sues AT&T Wireless.

WASHINGTON--Native American-owned wireless company TPS Utilicom Services Inc. is suing AT&T Wireless Services Inc., alleging unfair, deceptive and anti-competitive practices in its attempt to win spectrum licenses in the recent Federal Communications Commission auction. The lawsuit, filed in California court, said TPS is seeking to "prevent AT&T Corp.

and its affiliates, subsidiaries and other related organizations from reaping ill-gotten gains through their unlawful, unfair and fraudulent acquisition of wireless telecommunications licenses." The suit noted that Alaska Native Wireless, which AT&T partnered with for the auction, "was nothing more than a bidding front for AT&T." Alaska Native won 44 licenses during the auction for around $2.9 billion....
