MONTREAL--InterDigital Communications Corp. announced it plans to fund and guide technical research at McGill University's electrical and computer engineering department. Specifically, InterDigital said it will partner with McGill to research technical approaches to improve the efficiency of wireless networks that carry multimedia services.
"The collaboration with McGill University is fully aligned with InterDigital Canada's work on the development of 3G radio resource management solution," explained Michel Desgagne, director of InterDigital Canada.
