Zyray Wireless recently unveiled its reconfigurable W-CDMA and GSM/GPRS Wireless Processor Core for powering next-generation wireless devices. "We are developing an innovative physical layer solution that is reconfigurable between W-CDMA and GSM/GPRS communication standards," explained Werner Sievers, chief executive officer of Zyray.
"The solution will reside at the core of 2.5G and 3G mobile devices, enabling the transmission of voice, data and high bandwidth multimedia applications." www.zyraywireless.com.
