Two of the world's largest wireless carriers are planning to join a lengthening list of operators that are setting up revenue-sharing agreements with wireless Internet content providers. Vodafone Group plc in the United Kingdom plans to launch a system that will allow third-party content providers to charge for their wireless Internet content through a microbilling system.

WAP and short messaging service application developers will be able to set prices for their content, and users will be able to decide how much they want to spend and where to spend it.
