SchlumbergerSema expects SIM card sales to surpass 10m. (Business).

AUSTIN, Texas--SchlumbergerSema announced it expects North American sales of its Simera Java-enabled subscriber identity module smart card to surpass 10 million early this year. "With the recent introduction of Removable Subscriber Module (RUIM) Java cards for the North American CDMA market in 2002, SchlumbergerSema anticipates bringing SIM-based services to an even greater portion of the North American subscriber base," added Edward Jacobsen, the company's vice president of mobile communication solutions in North America.
