Verizon Wireless Inc. continued to roll out its Express Network high-speed data service, launching 13 additional markets in the Midwest, South, Northeast and Pacific Northwest. The carrier now covers approximately 72 million potential customers with the cdma2000 1x-based service. The newest markets with access to Verizon Wireless' service include Buffalo and Rochester, N.Y.; Pittsburgh; Chicago; St.

Louis; Dallas; Houston; Miami, West Palm Beach, Tampa, Lakeland and Key West, Fla.; and Portland, Ore. These markets follow the carrier's initial rollout earlier this year along the Northeast coast, in the San Francisco Bay Area and in Salt Lake City.
