IBM Corp. seems to want to be everything to everybody in the enterprise space from software infrastructure to using the devices on the market. Its WebSphere software family is an offering it often tweaks and expands. Last week, it announced the WebSphere Everyplace Access solution, which allows employees to access data over "virtually any currently available device on any network." The devices include personal digital assistants, mobile phones and other appliances.
