Verizon Wireless launches international calling plans. (Late News).

Verizon Wireless unveiled three international calling options including lower international calling rates, expanded prepaid offerings and an International Wireless program for customers calling abroad. The international calling rates will allow customers to call more than 160 countries for either 65 cents per minute or $1.50 per minute depending on the country.

Some of the countries included in the 65-cents-per-minute rate are Australia, Japan, South Africa, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Bermuda, and Trinidad and Tobago. The $1.50 per minute rate applies to other countries including Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Nepal and Vietnam.
