Gameloft releases games for Communicator. (Business).

New York-based Gameloft began selling July 23 its "Rayman Pocket" edition of the popular computer game designed for the Nokia Communicator 9290, a combination handheld computer and wireless phone using the Symbian operating system. The Communicator has been available for sale on the phone maker's Web site since late June and also is for sale in a limited number of retail stores, including CompUSA in New York City.

"This is really the first big, licensed video game to be available for the Communicator," said Winn Keaten, communications director for Gameloft, a unit of Paris-based UbiSoft.
