SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Research In Motion Ltd.'s request for a restraining order against Good Technology Inc. was thrown out by the judge. Judge Raymond J. Ikola of the Orange County Superior Court of California denied RIM's request, Good said. "Customers are voting for innovation over litigation," said Danny Shader, Good's chief executive officer.
"In fact, the ironic outcome of RIM's unfortunate legal tactics has been enhanced visibility of Good's highly differentiated products among potential customers."
