Wayport expands Wi-Fi network with AT&T Wireless agreement. (Business).

NEW YORK--AT&T Wireless Services Inc., which offers its own Wi-Fi service at Denver International Airport, has expanded its 802.llb access options through a roaming agreement with Wayport Inc., Austin, Texas, a large, privately held wireless local area network provider. The mobile operator also will begin offering commercial service on its own Wi-Fi network at Philadelphia International Airport in mid-February.

Wayport, whose other roaming partners include Boingo, iPass and GRIC, offers wireless Internet access in the common areas of approximately 475 hotels, including Four Seasons, Loews, Wyndham, Hilton, Marriott, Sheraton, Doubletree and Embassy Suites properties.
