Privacy, safety advocates support Verizon appeal in music download case.(News)

Byline: HEATHER FORSGREN WEAVER WiredSafety.org and the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence rallied behind Verizon Communications Inc. in its attempt to quash a subpoena from the Recording Industry Association of America seeking the identity of a Verizon Internet subscriber that RIAA believes is illegally downloading and distributing copyrighted music.
