Progress Telecom marks Verizon's 300th antenna on utility structures.(Business)

Progress Telecom, subsidiary of Progress Energy, has added an antenna array to a utility structure in St. Petersburg, Fla., for Verizon Wireless marking its 300th wireless attachment of a cellular/PCS antenna array to a utility structure. Progress Telecom, which allows wireless carriers to collocate antennas on its company infrastructure, has put antennas throughout Florida and North and South Carolina on structures owned by itself and sister utilities Progress Energy Florida and Progress Energy Carolinas.
