Wireless e-mail company Good Technology Inc. scored a strategic partnership with computer giant Dell Computer Corp., but neither company is releasing details of the deal. The companies plan to make a formal announcement and provide details of the partnership Tuesday. Good promised that the deal was the first of many upcoming partnerships.
The Good/Dell alliance is interesting because Dell currently resells devices from Research In Motion Ltd.-the avowed rival of Good. RIM and Good are embroiled in a patent and trademark battle. Good and Dell wouldn't discuss the details of their new partnership, including whether it would be a reselling agreement.
