Boingo, Wayport expand hot-spot networks.(News)

High-speed wireless Internet service provider Boingo Wireless Inc. announced its roaming system will include more than 2,600 hot-spot locations within the next three months. A new agreement with STSN Inc., which provides wired and wireless high-speed Internet access at hotels and conference centers worldwide, accounts for 425 of the new hot spots and increases Boingo's hotel footprint by 70 percent.

In all, Boingo's system now includes approximately 1,300 hotels, 600 cafes, 30 airports and nine convention centers in 15 countries. More than 1,400 locations are live now, and the rest are expected to be live within the next 90 days.
