Tower-siting battles continue to plague the wireless communications industry. Communities are becoming more educated on complicated issues like radio-frequency emissions and interference, making arguments against siting increasingly sophisticated. The shift indicates the industry will need to change strategies to ensure future buildout efforts are not deterred.
