Visto launches wireless e-mail solution.(News)

RCR Wireless News, June, 2004

Visto announced it launched a new wireless e-mail product called Visto Mobile, which is based on technology the company acquired through its purchase of ViAir last year. "The heart of our proposition is that with the Visto Mobile platform, operators can offer customers individual, POP3, or corporate e-mail/PIM accounts.

What's more, they can use handsets from Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Palm or many, many others, and run the service over Windows Mobile, PalmSource or Symbian OS operating platforms,'' said Brian Bogosian, the company's chairman, president and chief executive officer.
