Late News: Vodafone Sweden begins consumer 3G services.(Late News)

Vodafone Sweden launched multimedia consumer services via its UMTS-based network in Sweden along with promotional rate plans that include up to 120 free minutes of video calls each month to all networks in the country. The carrier originally launched its next-generation network in February to its corporate customers using the Vodafone Mobile Connect 3G data card.

The consumer service will be based on the Vodafone Live! wireless data offering and will be customized for a pair of handsets, the Samsung Z105 and Sony Ericsson Z1010, which operate on both Vodafone's UMTS and GSM networks.
