Byline: JEFFREY SILVA The Spectrum Coalition for Public Safety plans to ask Congress to set aside 10 megahertz at 700 MHz for public-safety communications. RCR Wireless News learned last week that city and state officials plan to offer Congress legislative language to be included in the 9/11 Commission Report Implementation Act of 2004 requiring the government to assign an additional 10 megahertz at 700 MHz for broadband public-safety communications services.
