Newsweek gains wireless e-mail access via JP Mobile, Sprint.(News)

Executives, sales professionals and information technology staff at Newsweek use wireless e-mail services from JP Mobile and Sprint Corp., the companies announced. "It's not always practical to lug around and boot up a laptop in order to access e-mail while on the road. We needed a more convenient solution for remote access, one that that would allow our senior execs and sales professionals to stay connected using wireless devices they could always have with them,'' said Leonard Carella, vice president and chief technology officer for Newsweek.
