Nvidia Corp. said it plans to unveil a single chip solution that supports mobile TV, music and games. applications at the 3GSM show.
The graphics processor technology company said the GoForce 3D 5500 is designed to capitalize on 3G networks and handsets. The processor is expected to hit the market in the second half of 2006.
Nvidia declined to disclose any manufacturer deals, though it currently works with Motorola Inc., LG Electronics Co. Ltd., Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and Kyocera Corp.
