LG looks to ply GSM markets with Chocolate.(News)

Do Europeans like chocolate as much as South Koreans? What about Americans?

If we're talking food, the question is crazy. But because we're talking about LG Electronics Co. Ltd.'s new Chocolate mobile phone, which has done well since its release in South Korea in November-300,000 units in four months-the question is appropriate.

In a quarterly conference call, the South Korean handset vendor said it would stake part of its plans for growth on expanding retail sales in GSM markets such as Western Europe and, eventually, possibly late this year, the United States.
