Ultimate Electronics drops T-Mobile USA in favor of competitor Verizon Wireless.(News)

Western U.S. consumer electronics retailer Ultimate Electronics has dropped T-Mobile USA Inc. in favor of Verizon Wireless. The retail chain said it will offer Verizon Wireless phones and services in 29 of its 32 stores in Colorado, Arizona, Kansas and several other states. The announcement appears to mark a substantial distribution expansion Verizon Wireless and retail enhancement for Ultimate, which until recently had offered only a handful of phones from T-Mobile USA.
