FCC: Fourth-quarter complaints cover wireless billing, rates.(News)

The Federal Communications Commission said it received 4,600 wireless complaints in the fourth quarter of 2006, a slight increase from the previous quarter. Most fourth-quarter wireless complaints dealt with billing and rates, the FCC said. The same was true of the 4,149 wireless complaints to the FCC in the third quarter of last year.

The FCC said informal complaints do not necessarily represent a violation by wireless carriers.
