Industry: Email Alert RSS FeedXiotech and Spectra Logic enter GSA teaming agreement to ease storage purchasing for federal IT managers.(PARTNERSHIPS)

Spectra Logic and Xiotech have signed a teaming agreement with the US General Services Administration (GSA). Under the terms of the agreement, end-users can purchase bundled Xiotech-Spectra Logic storage solutions directly from GSA. Many federal IT managers depend on GSA's product approval before purchase.
This agreement will reduce time spent by agencies and departments that seek tested, bundled primary, and secondary storage solutions. Xiotech and Spectra Logic signed a reseller agreement in July 2005, wherein Xiotech began reselling its primary Magnitude 3D storage systems with Spectra T-series libraries for secondary backup.
