a. APPLE (www.apple.com) debuted the MacBook Pro, the first Mac notebook built on the new Intel Core Duo, which is actually two processors engineered onto a single chip. The chip provides 2MB of Smart Cache, which can be shared between cores as needed, and delivers higher performance in 2D and 3D graphics, video editing, and music encoding. Other features include a built-in iSight camera for video conferencing and a Front Row media experience via an Apple Remote.
