Global Crossing announced that it has signed a three-year agreement with ASM International NV (ASMI), a global supplier of semiconductor equipment, to provide a fully managed IP VPN, along with Global Crossing Mobile IP Connect, co-location, Dedicated Internet Access, and Remote VPN Access services, to connect its sites across Europe, the US, and Asia.
Global Crossing will provide a fully managed, MPLS-based IP VPN network connecting ASMI's headquarters in Bilthoven, the Netherlands, with all major ASMI front-end locations including factories, sales offices, and service operations in three continents.
