An remote-access, Web-based Exercise Physiology course was offered by the Department of Kinesiology and Health at Texas A and M University-Corpus Christi in summer of 1998. The course featured lectures and practice tests enriched with Adobe PageMill software, as well as Quick Time movies and graphic illustrations. In addition, course developers used Microsoft PowerPoint 98 to create outlined lectures in HTML format.

It is recommended that future distance learning instructions attend formal training workshops to prepare for a Web-based program
