McGraw-Hill Higher Education and Intelecom, a producer of educational TV series for distance learning and classroom instruction, will offer On Common Ground: Framework for Democracy on PBS and cable stations beginning in January.
The 26-part series on American government will serve as a basis for a college-credit distance learning course, blending broadcast-quality video with Thomas Patterson's text, We the People. The course features tools from Intelecom and the McGraw-Hill Online Learning Center, such as simulations, graphics, video and audio, Web links and multiple study tools.
