Villanova U. sets up 'Wall Street' lab.(Villanova University)(Brief Article)

In an effort to bring classroom theory into practice, Dell and Philadelphia's Villanova University have partened to create a Wall Street-esque experience without ever having to leave for the big city. The Applied Financa Lab, a rare state-of-the-art facility, features, group-work areas equipped with Dell desktop systems, flat-panel monitors and LCD TVs; ticker displays; and a Blommberg terminal showing financial information for students to use while making important decisions.
The universit's College of Commerce & Finance recently opened the lab, which also features a simulated trading floor, to equip their students with a unique experience that will help them get a leg up on the competition in their field of study.
