Ignoring the latest developments in set-top box storage could place broadcasters at a serious disadvantage, says Chris Forrester "Set-top boxes with built-in storage will be ubiquitous in five years," says David Robertson, director of business development at NDS, the News Corp-owned technology company well-known to digital broadcasters, many of which are using its compression equipment.
