Sue Adams Managing Director, Asia Fremantle Media What do you hope to achieve in China in 2003? Sales How many programme hours did you sell into China in 2002? We licensed two formats but we didn't sell any programme hours into China in terms of production. What genres were most in demand? Was this from local agents/ distributors, from terrestrial/free-TV stations or from the cable/ pay-TV broadcast divisions? There seems to be interest in game shows and variety shows from all platforms.

What do you think will be the biggest challenges in China in the foreseeable future? The first evolving market which changes just as you get used to the changes. Has China's entry to the WTO made a significant difference to the way you do...
