ESPN STAR Sports (ESS) expands its line-up of in-house programming with Harsha Unplugged, a 30-minute show aimed at the Indian market. The show, which has presenter Harsha Bhogle talking to leading sports personalities, is aimed "at getting national and international sports men and women closer to the Indian sports fan" as well as providing "insights to the events, people, attitudes and perspectives shaping India's sports idols".

ESS has also renewed the telecast rights for European football's UEFA Champions League for Asia and the Indian sub-continent till 2006. While ESS is tight-lipped about the value of the acquisition, indications are that the sports network picked up the rights for just US$1.5 million.
