Hong Kong's total advertising expenditure for 2004 is set to grow by approximately 11% when compared with 2003.41% of advertisers plan to increase their advertising budgets going forward, according to a new survey. The survey was initiated by The Hong Kong Advertisers Association (2As) and conducted by Marketing Decision Research (Pacific) Limited (MDR) from December 2003 until February 2004. The objective was to understand and study the changes in total advertising expenditure and budget allocation in 2004, compared to 2003. 164 questionnaires were completed by top advertisers, most of who were responsible for marketing management and were in charge of advertising budget decisions. 70% of the companies questioned employed over 100 full-time staff. 43% were involved...
