The Philippines free-TV leader, ABS-CBN, has signed up for the country's first Big Brother series. The deal with Endemol is the second in Asia after Thailand, where the series launched on ITV this year. The Thailand deal was signed by Eksum Binhasum (right), president of Thailand's Kantana Group; Nima Rasidee, ITV's programming vice president (second left); Ed Louwerse (far left), Endemol% senior licensing manager, international programming and licensing for the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa, Central Europe and Scandinavia; and Ed Sharpies (third left), Endemol International Licensing's Bangkok-based sales director for Southeast Asia.

Locations in the Philippines are currently being sought for the new series. No further details are available.
