Intelsat Ltd has announced key executive appointments that will take effect after Intelsat's PanAmSat Holding Corporation acquisition. David McGlade, Intelsat's current chief executive officer, will be the new CEO and Joe Wright, PanAmSat's current CEO, will be the chairman of Intelsat's board.
James Frownfelter, PanAmSat's current chief operating officer, will be the chief operating officer. Frownfelter will replace current Intelsat chief operating officer Ramu Potarazu and Intelsat Global Service Corporation President Kevin Mulloy. As chief operating officer, Frownfelter will oversee sales and marketing, engineering and operations, and program procurement.
