Rebecca Tan has joined Nielsen Media Research as executive director. In this newly created position, Tan has taken charge of Nielsen Media Research's advertising expenditure tracking along with; print, radio and customized media research businesses in Malaysia. Her role will also include responsibilities for Singapore.

Tan will oversee the operations of both markets and will report to managing director Richard Basil Jones, who oversees Nielsen Media Research, Asia Pacific.
