BBC Worldwide hires Maggie Wong to drive Asian publishing and licensing.(people)

LONDON -- BBC Worldwide has appointed Maggie Wong to head up its publishing and licensing business across North and South East Asia. Based in Hong Kong, Wong will be responsible for the company's DVD and licensing businesses across the region. BBC Worldwide's publishing and licensing business operates with distribution and development partnerships in all key territories including China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea and across South East Asia. Key brands include Teletubbies (this year celebrating its 10th anniversary), Charlie and Lola, Doctor Who, Top Gear and Planet Earth.
