In addition to its well-known line of tax research products and tax planning programs, BNA Software offers applications for estate and gift tax compliance. The BNA Estate & Gift Tax 706 Preparer and 709 Preparer programs are offered separately, and support filing requirements for federal and all 50 states, plus Washington, D.C. A single-user license for the 706 Preparer costs $695; $265 for each additional user. The 709 Preparer is $430, with each add-on user costing $80. This review covers both of these systems, although each runs independently of the other.
